Privacy Policy
Moons Away does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything the app does happens on your device.
Data we collect
None. Moons Away:
- has no user accounts and no sign-in;
- makes no network calls of its own — all lunar calculations run locally on your device;
- contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Data stored on your device
The app stores the following locally on your device only, using Android app storage:
- events you create (title, date, time, optional description);
- your settings (theme, notification preferences, countdown mode);
- whether Pro has been unlocked.
This data never leaves your device, and is removed when you uninstall the app (or clear the app's storage).
Notifications
If you enable moon alerts, notifications are scheduled locally on your device. No push-notification service is used and no data is sent anywhere.
In-app purchases
The optional Pro upgrade is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details. Google's handling of your payment information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Children
Moons Away does not collect data from anyone, including children.
This website
moonsaway.app sets no cookies and uses no analytics, fonts or scripts from third parties. Like any website, its hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability; we do not use them to identify or track visitors.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes what data is handled, this policy will be updated and the effective date revised before that version is released.
